Yamaleela 2 – The right dose for a complete entertainment movie

Eminent South Indian Director, S. V. Krishna Reddy is leaping back into Telugu Movie Industry after a long gap of almost ten years with Yamaleela 2. Yamaleela 2 is a series to one of his most entertaining blockbuster hit movies Yamaleela, which was a smashing hit during the mid 90’s. Yamaleela is a socio-fantasy movie based on mother sentiment, seasoned with a lot of comedy and powerful dialogues. Renowned actor, Ali played the lead role in the movie which gave him instant fame and raised him to stardom overnight. The movie was a turning point in his career which he turned him into a hero from a comedian.

Yamaleela 2 stars Dr. K. V. Satish, Nikita Diah Nicolas, Dr. Mohan Babu, Brahmanandam in the leading roles. Yamaleela 2 is a complete family entertainment movie with lots of comedy flavor in it. He is counted among top successful young entrepreneurs in India. Because of his interest in movies and his passion for acting, he chose to act in the movie to pursue his passion.

The female lead role will be played by Nikita Diah Nicolas who is a model-turned-actor from South Africa. Diah Nicolas in an accomplished model and this is her first movie as an actor.

Interestingly, Yamaleela 2 has debutants in the lead roles. Director SV Krishna Reddy has openly claimed that Yamaleela fared well in the box office due to experienced actors. Contrary to the earlier statement, in the sequel the Director is offering the lead roles to debutants and actors like Nisha Kothari and Saada who have been absent from the acting scene for a while now. But, going by the creativity and effectiveness of his movies, SV Krishna Reddy must have something interesting to offer to the audience to take such a risk. Businessman-turned-Actor, Dr. K.V.Satish the New Face in Tollywood

S V Krishna Reddy is directing a sequel to one of his most ultimate and smash hit movies, Yamaleela. Yamaleela was the movie which gave a huge break to both Ali and Krishna Reddy. Yamaleela was a socio fantasy movie filmed way back in 1990’s that featured a new comer Ali in the main lead role. The movie was based on mother sentiment. After 20 years, the great legendary director is coming back with its sequel ‘Yamaleela 2’. 

Yamaleela 2 stars Dr. K V Satish, Diah Nicolas, Mohan Babu and Brahmanandam in the lead characters. The iconic role of Yamadharma Raja is played by collection King Mohan Babu and the most entertaining role of Chithragupta has been assigned to Brahmanandam. So, a lot of comedy is expected from the movie along with a huge dose of sentiments, actions, romance and drama. Often regarded to be the hottest actors in Telugu Film Industry, Nisha Kothari and Sada have been tied up for item songs. One of the item song is anticipated to be on the lines of hit song “Andalalo Aho…”. 

The Movie is produced by Krishna Reddy’s close friend, Atchi Reddy under the Manisha films Banner. Dr. K V Satish (KVS) a well-known business person in Indian real estate industry is reprising the role of Ali. KVS is the chairman of DS-MAX Properties Pvt. Ltd. based in Bangalore. Being born and brought up in Vishakapatanam, after his studies he moved to Bangalore to establish his business. He has been adorned with the prestigious “The Great Son of Karnataka Award” by the Government of Karnataka for his selfless contribution to the society. Even though, he is a successful businessman, at one corner of his heart he always had great passion towards movies, for which reason he is debuting as an actor in Yamaleela 2. 

Recently, Yamaleela 2 crew organized a press meet in hotel Hyatt in Hyderabad. They announced that the Movie is going to be on theatres by the mid of June. We wish Yamaleela 2 team with good luck and a immense success.

55% of Yamaleela 2 Movie shooting completed

S.V.Krishna Reddy’s Yamaleela, in combination with Ali was a smash hit 20 years back, i.e., in 1994. Yamaleela movie gave a great break to Ali and turned him from a comedian into a hero.

The overwhelming response which Yamaleela received forced SV Krishna Reddy to come up with a brand new edition of the then blockbuster movie. Now, after such a long gap he has undertaken a new project which is Yamaleela 2, a sequel to the blockbuster movie, Yamaleela. The Death King Yama’s character is taken over by Dialogue King Mohan Babu. But in the prequel this role was played by Satya Narayana.

Filming of Yamaleela 2 is going on at a rapid pace in Ramanaidu studios, Hyderabad. The most astonishing factor of Yamaleela 2 movie is that a compensation of Rs. 2 crores has been given Collection King Mohan Babu to perform the role of Yama.

Tollywood famous movie star, Allari Naresh was essayed for the role of male lead in Yamaleela 2, but due to several reasons, he is replaced with a new comer. Some sources say that, 55% of the movie has been completed which include item songs in which Sada and Nisha Kothari is said to have performed. Similar to Yamaleela, it is expected that Yamaleela 2 would also be a chartbuster hit movie.

Versatile Brahmanandam to play Chitragupta once again after 20 years

Brahmanandam Kanneganti was born on 1 February 1956 in Sattenapalli, Andhra Pradesh. Before he started acting in movies, he did MA in Telugu and was working as a Telugu lecturer in a town known as Attili in Andhra Pradesh. Currently, he is one of the most famous actors and comedians who hold a Guinness World Record for appearing in more than 1000 movies as a living actor. Brahmanandam was introduced to Telugu Movie industry by Jandhyala in the movie ‘Chantabbayi’. He is considered as the greatest comedian in the Telugu film Industry,

Brahmanandam has been showered with many prestigious awards. He has been bestowed with fourth highest civilian honor the ‘Padma Sri Award’, for his significant contribution to Indian Movie Industry in 2009. Brahmanandam played the role of Chitragupta in Yamaleela. Now, after a long gap of 20 years, he has been assigned to take over the same role due to his hilarious facial expressions and versatile acting skills. Some sources said that, he was recently found shooting in Ramanaidu Studios for Yamaleela 2.

Diah Nicolas Signed to Play Lead Role in Yamaleela 2

Yamaleela 2 will feature a new beauty from South Africa who is making her debut in Tollywood with the movie. Earlier this year, Director SV Krishna Reddy has confirmed that his search for a new face to play the female lead role in his upcoming movie Yamaleela 2 is over. Diah Nicolas is the new sensation in Telugu Film Industry. As published on Deccan Chronicle's website last month, Diah Nicolas has been in India for the past few months and has been undergoing rigorous training sessions for her debut movie. Diah Nicolas is a model-turned-actress who aspires to rock the South Indian cine scene with her acting abilities.

Sources reveal that the South African sensation will don a typical Telugu girl looks in the upcoming movie. It will be interesting to see how Diah Nicolas justifies the role of an Indian girl. If sources are to be believed, there are rumors that Diah Nicolas will have a new Indian name after this movie. The shoot for the movie has already begun and is expected to be released during the mid of this year. Back in the 90s, the original movie ‘Yamaleela’ has topped the charts. SV Krishna Reddy is back with the remake of his blockbuster Yamaleela

After a long break from the Telugu Film Industry, Dr. S.V.Krishna Reddy is back on the news again with the remake of his blockbuster movie Yamaleela. Sources reveal that South African beauty, Diah Nicolas has been chosen to play the female lead in the movie. Celebrated actors like Mohan Babu and Brahmanandam will also be seen in the movie.

Mohan Babu will be playing the role of Yama, while Brahmanandam will be playing similar character of Chitraguptudu as in the original Yamaleela. The name of the new male lead is yet to be made public. However, during one of the press releases S.V.Krishna Reddy mentioned that he is looking for a new hero with good face value.
